Thousands and Thousands of line kilometers of ground magThey have done over 2,000 l-km of ground mag. Would have cost them over $100/l-km so say $200k
Using UTS geophysics or Xcalibur would have cost them less than half that, and acquired radiometrics at the same time.
Only a $100k mistake in a $7,000,000 budget, so neither here nor there I guess.
I suspect they may not have had time after De Beers' exit to secure an aircraft. Though they would have had 6 months warning. Poor form.
