RE:just brutal...I'm holding out until after the dust settles.  The market punishes uncertainty and we're seeing a lot of uncertainty right now.  Arcan stock was in an uptrend prior to yesterday's news, and that wasn't just a fluke caused by retail investors.  The Big Boys are behind the move - having advance knowledge of the deal IMO.

If shareholders still believe in the Swan Hills play then this deal will provide the means to unlock its true potential via holding spinco shares.
