Is a slowdown in oil-sands development better for COS? Saw an article in the globe and mail today that reported academics support a moratorium on oil sands development. Ironically slowdown in a broader development from other operators is a benefit to COS in respect to the costs it would incur for labor or equipment as lower demand should mean higher supply. Tht would seem to hold true for the price Syncrdude and other existing operators get for their oil as lower supply implies higher prices.
