Theralase Technologies Inc. is a Canada-based clinical-stage pharmaceutical company. The Company is engaged in the research and development of light activated compounds and their associated drug formulations. The Company operates through two divisions: Anti-Cancer Therapy (ACT) and Cool Laser Therapy (CLT). The technology has been used off-label for healing numerous nerve, muscle and joint conditions. The Company develops products both internally and using the assistance of specialist external resources.

existing laser revenue

I know that the new laser will be coming out this year. However, I am curious as to why revenue from the exisiting laser business has been declining steadily in recent years. Has a competitor leap-frogged them (and TLT is hoping to leap them with their new iteration) or is there some other answer?

I didn't see this explained in the PR's I have read.
