Artis Real Estate Investment Trust is an unincorporated closed-end REIT based in Canada. Artis REIT's portfolio comprises properties located in Central and Western Canada and select markets throughout the United States, including regions such as Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Arizona, Minnesota, Colorado, New York, and Wisconsin. The properties are divided into three categories: office, retail, and industrial. The industrial properties account for most of the portfolio, followed by the office properties and the retail properties.

RE:RE:RE:ax.unThe entire REIT market is in the sewer right now.   I'd rather have AX.UN than D.UN right now.  D.UN is way oversold at the moment, off 20% from their highs.

I'm still personally up on AX.UN, and I'm dripping my average purch price lower.   Doesn't really matter to me what it does in the short term.   

Truth is, AX.UN is great exposure to a very diverse set of properties.  Shopping centers, hotels, office towers, and lots of regional diversity.    It's harder to figure this one out than Dream REIT.
