Hi mmfar,
A commercial oil find would have definitley put Namibia on the map. Yes

However 1711 is in a different geological basin. 1711 in in the Naimbe Basin . Welwitcha is in the Walvis Basin.
Chariots's well that was drilled in 2012 would have been a more significant well as it is next to 1711 and is in the same basin.

My thoughts were that if Welwitcha came up dry and did not impact ENG's value at all. The market realizes the distance between the basins. The market will value ENG on its projects and not someone elses block 400 kms away.
We are still waiting for the Lotshi licence extension.
