RE:RE:BlackBerry sales double in the USA

RE:RE:BlackBerry sales double in the USAMarket share can only keep going up. Word-of-mouth is a lot slower that mass advertising but I've seen a few examples of it lately. Last night at Starbucks (Toronto area) a fellow puts a Z30 on the table. So I ask him about the phone, feigning ignorance just to get his comments. He raves on about it  for about 10 minutes showing me what it can do, etc. Within minutes a guy nearby pulls out a Z10 and joins in the 'rave'. Before you know it the whole corner of the room is chatting about Blackberry, including non-owners. I've seen a couple of other similar situations. At the tech counter at Wal-Mart a guy showing his Z10 to a customer, my boss at work showing off his Z10 to emplyees,  a couple in the Bell store picking up a Z30 and saying that's what they're getting when their upgrade kicks in....All comments more than positive....

Purely andectodal....but word-of-mouth travels exponentially...and I think it's starting to have it's effect. Market share in Toronto at least, is way up....
