RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:one good thingA desperate government/FED could perceivably continue naked shorting and keeping the price of gold down until they no longer affect the physical price of bullion.  When that happens they could (Will likely) announce a sudden "Stop Loss" and set a pay-out price for all outstanding paper gold claims.  This could be the scenario for declaring defeat.  When paper gold is seen for what its really worth then physical gold will be demanded and the house of cards will collapse.  Gold manipulation will be dead as consumers rush in to buy physical and drive the price to new highs.
