RE:RE:RE:True widths are unnecessary and misleading
The true width of the orebodies here is about one third of what Fission is reporting. Mineralization to a large extent is confined to the graphitic pelitic gneiss. If you call up the drill sections on the Fission web site you will see that this geologic unit is dipping at about 75 degrees. Therefore a 90 degree hole is not far off what we would call "drilling down dip" which is a bit of an old mugs game. I appreciate that drilling off of barges/lake ice etc. is difficult but even Hathor drilled plenty of holes at 45 degrees etc to get a better sense of true width. So when Fission reports a 10 metre intercept this really implies a true width in the order of 4 metres. This does not take away from the nice discovery here and will come out in the wash with respect to resource calculation. Not reporting true width makes the numbers look sexier, but we are somewhat smarter than that Des.
