RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:NAV'S OF MMP.UN-T VS. PME-TI just looked at the PME prospectus ( and this I am sure applies to MMP.UN as well) that they can buy futures contracts on precious metals though I never see it in their list of holdings. They also can trade in options and future contracts but again I see no mention in their listings. I think they made the prospectus very flexible. They also confirm that they are involved in are new IPO'S and secondary offerings which usually have attached warrants which can be very profitable. Incidentally they are the biggest shareholder in Timmins Gold-roughly 15%!
