RE:Taking a break from living to check the boardJVrocks wrote: Just popped in to see if the sky is falling in cyberspace. I want to congratulate the shorts on the success of their well timed selling program. They real shorts (as opposed to the mouth pieces on this thread) are well informed and they knew at the party or before the party that there was probably going to be a three week time gap between the meeting and the announcement of the "deal". I would have sold off myself with the intent of buying back at lower prices if I hadn't been expecting buying coming from the USA. The US buying was already overdue and expected to kick in "any day". When the buying didn't happen, down went the share price and I'm left watching my portfolio drop just like everyone else. In the big picture, the temporary drop in the share price doesn't matter but missing the opportunity is frustrating. This is not about the shorts being smarter or that "every stock follows the same pattern". ATT shot straight up to a peak over $3 per share without having the "goods". AFI has the goods and the story hasn't even started yet. In this situation, the shorts have simply taken advantage of the timing. Either the shorts had better information about the delay in US buying than the rest of us, or AFI let us down. Either way, it is frustrating for those that held. The garbage that the shorts are spewing on this board about AFI going to $0.10 or that AFI is a scam or that Vertical Farming isn't financially viable is nonsense and they know it. They post that stuff because they know that all they have to do is keep the share price down in this range for three more weeks until the private placement shares get released. Even if only 2 million of the private placement shares are sold, the shorts will lock in their impressive win. Kudos to them. I wouldn't hold my breath hoping that US buying will come in and punish the shorts. If you put yourself in the position of the US buyers, would you rather wait for 3 weeks and buy the millions of shares in the $0.50 range or at $1.00 per share? If you are looking for comfort, you can feel secure in knowing that when the private placement shares do hit the market, there will be buyers for the shares and then the march upwards in the share price will begin. AFI is going to be a monster. Once again, congratulations to the shorts on this well played round.
JV, You keep on posting a load of cr#p in all your posts. Reality is, there is no Buying coming for this stock, more so not from the American side anyway. They are just not interested in the "rooftop strawberry garden". They sell strawberries to Canada !!
I find it amusing that when you pumpers run out of any meanigful arguments, you start parroting old news again and again. ATT happened does not mean AFI will go same way. You remember the old saying, "Fool me once, shame on you, Fool me twice, shame on me" !!
So, have you now been fooled once or is this your 2nd time !!
LOL !!
