Stock valuations
I am astounded at the lack of understanding of some posters about investing and stock valuations!
If you know what Earnings Per Share (EPS) means, you'll understand that a RS has absolutely no affect on valuation. Example: If your company shows a net income of a million dollars and you have a million shares out, you earn a dollar per share. If it sells at 20 times EPS it would trade at $20. If you have 200,000 shares, you earn $5 a share. 20 times $5 is $100 a share.
Hope this "Investing 101" will help some of you guys that are apparently new to investing.
