RE:Uranium

RE:Uranium
After reading nopoo's article: https://aheadoftheherd.com/Newsletter/2014/Uranium-Supply-Demand.htm I began checking on what effect phase outs of older nuclear plants might have.- versus the new nukes coming on line in the years ahead. Of some interest to readers who follow these issues, I refer you to this article below which some of you may find intriguing, as it concerns the proposed phase out of the 9 remaining operational German reactors.

It's a long article ( faint of heart need not go further) and note, it's published by the World Nuclear Organization, but I must say it details the current messy situation in Germany with the nuclear plant owners (as litigants) facing off against the gov't in the German courts as well as a sobering description of the German power grid scrambling to cope with the 2022 shutdown of the remaining nukes. I always thought that everything was handled so smoothly in Germany but now I'm seeing that they are just as crazy as everyone else. I'm sure there are some of you out there that will enjoy the sheer entertainment punch that can be packed into current events such as this one. If that's the case, please be my guest.
Best wishes
Fergus
