. Both the city of Prince Rupert and the township of Stewart offer year-round ice-free, deep-sea ocean ports, capable of accommodating Panamax-class ships Why does AVT have to TRUCK the Moly ore to Van. when it is much cheaper to load out the Moly ore at Prince Rupert or Stewart. Back when the mine was working 1978/82 the deep sea ships used to load the Moly ore in Kitsault harbour.
