re: Aggressive Exploration Planhey, mountain, I think that KDI has a very aggressive plan to identify the resources in its claim fields. They have data on some fields to make faster technical decisions, financing is mostly in hand, and also have the management and technical teams who worked the MPV claims available, and because the two sites are geographically proximate, the geochemistries are likely to be similar.
An interesting question is how management wants to set the timeline. They have MPV's GK coming on line in a couple years (est: 2016), and the question to me is by how many years do they want to trail MPV in development of KDI? Seems to me that they don't want to bring it to market too soon, which is not necessarily to shareholder's short term (<5 years) advantage, but may produce a larger $ pay off to bring it online when (if?) the projected demand gap is larger.
It is both an advantage and a disadvantage that MPV and KDI have the same management team... great to reuse the local technical knowledge and management talent, but the other thing to watch out for is the prospect that the TIGs or a like-minded group makes a buyout offer for KDI.
