In looking at the history it appears that the majority of the money that went into AQM was raised at  8-10 times the current price. There are substantial tax benefits to AQM if they can participate going forward.
I have tried to find out through reading the history of AQM to see what caused the share price destruction and could not see any reason-there must be one and I would appreciate a source to look up a clear explanation.
Teck's move at about $0.10 to increase their holding to 30.35% of the company and having management participate in the stock issuance looks interesting to me.
If Teck would loan the funds to AQM going forward for AQM's share it would reduce dilution and substantially help Teck increase their position and allow them to take advantage of the tax loss.
