Labumba, I haven't dug into this 'deal' or any current doc yet, but have followed the stock for yrs and been in/out a couple times +/- a decade ago. ...  That said, I will say that I tend to lean on the side of your thinking with these desparation deals.  Ex:  Along with many others, I had to swollow Orbite have to ante up a WHACK of shares just so they could get the $$ they needed to complete their Alumina project plant in QC.  It certainly hurts, especially when the financier knows time is heavy leverage for their corner.

Perhaps I'll try and dig into IE's health/info tomorrow if time permits.
