RE:RE:RE:AiminvestorApologies, I just realised I forgot to answer your third point!
"And at what point is it considered that a person has “mining experience”. How many years at the head of a mining company does it take to qualify you as experienced in the eyes of Aiminvestor?"
Good question.
In 15 years of running SLI, how much money has been raised, and how much went into the grilling the round? Ball park will do!
so I would say that 15years is way too long to have been running a company with no track record of serious exploration, or any discovery, and that's my personal opinion.
I would say it's time for someone else to have a go, but management are entrenched here, so the owners of the company cannot change the way the company they own is run!
Is that the way you think a publicly listed junior exploration company should be run?
I would suggest investors are deserting the venture because of such issues, and the evidence is in the waifer thin volumes on many juniors, and their inability to raise just about enought to keep the lights on for the next few months, and that won't last much longer as the last benefactors see through the game and close their wallets!
I know a really big player who has just informed me he is no longer going to participate in Canadian financings! Thta's the second big player in two months, and they invested an awful lot in many venture companies, but now no more!
I would suggest now is the time to bring in someone with a track record for exploration success, and then relist and try a financing.
