RE:MT POLLY TAILINGS SILT HITS THE FRASER RIVER
I call Bull***t. I clearly remember being rather impressed by the difference in the water colour at the confluence of the two rivers in Lytton when I first saw it 20 years ago. As previously posted by others , the Fraser has a very high silt content along its entire length. Thats why the dredges are almost continually at work on the lower mainland. Unless of course Mt Polley was discharging silt 20 years ago as well. doh!!!!!
