It provides value-added services including ripening, bagging, custom packaging, logistical management, and quality assurance. The Company also provides its customers with merchandising and promotional support, insights on market trends and hands-on training.

AVO's large cash position.

AVO's large cash position.A lot is being made of the large cash position at AVO.  Having sold  shares at $29, AVO could easily do a buy back at +/- $22 and improve the profit per share well above what the street expected.  Holding onto this money to make an acquistion is long term thinking, and could result in much better performance into the future.  I much perfer to go with this managements decisions than get excited about the short term.   Go Alex go.
