RE:RE:RE:RE:Free Get out of Jail for the Silver Shorters on August 14

This author, Bix Weir, is seriously deluded or willfully ignorant.

Of course there is a physical market for silver, he just doesn't like it.

There is a London metals exchange for many physical metals including gold and silver.

There are also minor silver trading on various exchanges around the world and private dealers and merchants have some input.

However, most price discovery is via Comex because it is the most active exchange.

By the way, don't believe the claims that there are naked shorts in silver at Comex.

It is impossible to have naked shorts because futures trading is a zero sum game.

Each contract has to have a trader long and a trader short.

Those analysts who say there are naked shorts either don't understand futures trading or are ignorant.

Silver does not need a London fix, but it did serve as a benchmark for many players in price discovery.

Electronic trading can replace the London fix.
