1st Quarter versus 2nd
In many respects I would say that the 2nd quarter was even better than the 1st, inasmuch as it highlights management’s relentless drive to mesh the improving landscape in the nat-gas market with the distinct advantages of that “single entity land package” that sits so strategically in the Montney. That freedom of movement allowed by its unhedged position coming into the 1st quarter (something that most of its competitors did not enjoy) has now been parlayed into a partially hedged position while the company passes through the summer doldrums, - only to return once more to an unhedged winter position; just a smooth shift to another gear in a carefully executed management strategy.
