1.46 Deal

While staring at a $0.75/s price on my screen, the $1.46 price is logically much more attractive. The only caveat being if you read between the lines of the press release, it sounds like there were certain provisions or indemnities which could not be fulfilled and nullified the legitimacy of the offer.
