I think that Maha and Palliser insiders have cooked up a plan to position themselves well for a resurgent Newco by being opaque about the deal in the hopes of flushing out a lot of cheap shares.

I also agree that shareholders will be better served by selling the company to an acquirer for the highest bid but that will mean the PXL insiders will be out on the street rather than playing the shareholders for their own benefit.

The fact that buyers could only flush a few million shares out in a week signals that Mr. Market is on to them and that PXL is held in strong hands.
