Ahhh I remember buying on IPO day

Ahhh I remember buying on IPO dayWhat a fun day that was... buying on IPO day! I remember grabbing my shares at 23$ first thing after the bell.

This was the only purely speculative play I've ever done with stocks, but I was damn confident it would pay off. I've always been a big trend guy, so I figured since all the other 3D printing stocks had appreciated greatly that year and the previous year, the same would occur with VJET. And right I was! Although, my timing was completly off. I thought a similar pattern as XONE would follow, but it happened much quicker. When the stock started getting extremely ridiculous (1B market cap lol), I sold.

I'm glad my timing was right, and I doubt I will ever engage in such speculative plays again unless I feel extremely confident in the timing. It's all about human psychology in these kind of plays, and since everyone was bullish about 3D printing, I couldn't pass on the opportunity.
