RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:LAC operation VS Posco dealI don't think anyone would have to tell these mutes to be quiet , they've been quiet for over a year now.
And if POSCO wanted quiet , they would not have released news of the mill themselves.
Really , there's not much to report anyway until results of the process are confirmed , and you can almost bet they'll be good , that's whay they chose this particular brine , why set up in another are where the results would no be as impressive , no , they chose this brine for a few reasons.
One : Third largest brine on the planet , so once they are in production , no need to stop , just keep on producing and selling lithium.
Two: One of the richest in Lithium , and the purest , so the results should be much better than in most other brines they could have chosen , making the new technology look even better.
Three: all the preliminary work here has been done , resources proven and tested , all permits in place , bribes paid , etc. , a turn-key resource you could say , no hassles , just set up and start producing.
Four: Perfect company , has no real management , just owners , has no funds to go into production themselves , and no chance of raising more funds in the forseeable future , perfect for POSCO , make a deal to supply mill and process for a cut of the profits , or a piece of the company , or just buy them outright if the process pans out and the resouce is as good as they previously thought.
Anyway , that's my opinion , the mill has left town and is on it's way , something is going to happen soon , POSCO is making a big push into the lithium industry as they have stated , this is their first big commercial production with this new process after two successful smaller projects , they're not going to let this one fail.
And they're not going to be quiet about it when the results are in , they , unlike LAC , have a resposibility tho their shareholders.
My money is on POSCO eventually being the new owner.
