RE:RE:RE:RE:Calvalley Petroleum announces declarati on of special divGuy I am not sure at that annual rate it would be enough to entice an investor into CVI's jurisdictional risk but it will certainly provide a long term floor for the stock around this level. However, with the change in approach  of trying to create value my view is again very open to considering owning a position here again. I only wish they had bigger exploration targets to justify the risk penalties they pay to  drill an exploration well.

I feel somewhat vindicated after a previous rebuff of proposing this idea in the past to management at least they are stubbornly seeing the light.

Currently, I don't own shares here and never reacquired given their previous stance on the issue since the DNO offer gave me an excellent chance to bail here from my disgust although at a profit.

Just an observation but it appears at that 3-6% dividend rate NSU CAL and MMT seems to have stalled in price. But at that high rate MMT sported a value at the peak well over 100% of its NAV and has since the top shrugged off persistently horrible news fairly well  considering and when CAL got to a 10% yield that condition didn't last very long.
