Usually the fundamentals come through in the long-haul, as long as you don't mis-judge the fundamentals. However, you're right that in the short-term the technical can kill your day when you realize everyone's dumping and that the 'low' price you got today is the high tomorrow as it keeps on going down another 10%. Which is the main reason I haven't bought yet I think.
