Re : Environmental issuesThere may be places with less regulation for mining but Saskatchewan has a good record in this area. They have settled First Nation Land claims and look very good as compared with other places around the world. 
The economy is growing and the Sask buget is balanced so taxes are likely to remain reasonable.
Best look for another problem to worry about.
