It's an interesting point to consider - if you look at the total cost of an energy unit and the amount required to perform a job over a finite period of time (however long they expect the compression to be running for), renewables aren't as attractive as hydrocarbons in many applications. I don't think it's fair to make that assumption without evidence, so Roscoe - if you can expand on this. How much will renewables cost vs. hydrocarbons for compression?
