MEG does not have to "scramble" to defend themselves if they are just trying to squeeze CUS in negotiations. If they feel they don't have a strong position then they can just back down and allow the tie in. After all CUS management isn't goinig to push this into court if they can get the whole thing swept under the rug and get on with business. They have had 2 weeks to resolve this issue now and I'm sure lawyers on both sides have been racking up billable hours. I agree with others here who have felt there is more to this than meets the eye. If this does get to court tomorrow without resolution then the hearing may just be the start of a protracted legal battle
