I have seen this sort of moral hazard before at resource companies. What the shareholders need is someone willing to take on 55% and management. My personal conclusion is that much of the processing infrastructure is totally clapped out after four decades hence sustaining capital will continue to disappoint. And not one company feels that it is their issue to deal with so we end up in the neutral zone with the Romulins for years. I'll keep my eye on the ball here but if these clerks go for a dividend increase without subsequent growth in free cashflow I will likely short them.
