In theory if the plant was operating optimally at 375,000 BOE day it would of produced roughly 90 million barrels, in stead of the YTD end of august production of roughly 59 million barrels. Thats about 65 percent design capacity and what did they do with the other 41 million barrels of bitumen. Do they actually slow down the mining operation and reduce the creation of bitumen. Does bitumen really need to have the sulfur removed at syncrude or can that be done in a refinery process. Is management sitting on it hands while we spend a year looking at operational issues or are they trying to figure ways around these? I have very little faith in the current management, maybe they should reduce the management costs to 59 percent of the current cost to get them in line with share holders.
