RE:TD Investment was correct

RE:TD Investment was correct The MEG spat is nothing unusual in the patch. Any company will leverage access to squeeze whatever they can from the competition. Most of these dustups never see any publicity because the regulator rules on them.

It can be very interesting though. I recall one instance where the regulator told Company A to take space on Company B's pipeline rather than approve A's pipeline application. B squeezed hard and A refused.

A increased its production and successfully applied for pipeline approval. When B tried to get additional capacity, the regulator said that with A's pipeline, the area had enough capacity and told B to negotiate with A for space.

They all do it and when its done, it will be business as usual. No big deal. MEG is probably trying to get excess capacity cheap and Cenovus is willing to pay more so MEG puts the squeeze on CUS.
