RE:RE:Testing has begun!!
This is great news. And just last night I was pondering whether they would meet their deadlines. And they have. Will be so interesting to see how the rat tests do and then if human clinical trials do work on humans with bladder cancer, then I can't begin to imagine what a share would be worth. Hopefully this will all work on humans. I am sure all of us have either had cancer themselves or know someone that has. Specific to bladder cancer - I had a cousin in his 50's die of it. I guess bladder cancer likes to come back in the majority of people. He was initially diagnosed with bladder cancer with blood in urine. He then underwent treatment but no chemo. But then it came back and had metastisized so one wonders if it ever was really gone. Terrible pain and lots of suffering. Took chemo but that is so toxic and makes one so ill. Little wonder that many patients refuse to take it. Let's hope this works for all those people that will suffer and/or die from bladder cancer and then work for other cancers as well. I would think that this type of therapy would not work for blood cancers tho. But even if only 1 cancer can be successfully treated, it will be a wonderful thing.
