Not what I mean. CO has less than a tenth of the heat of combustion (energy content) of other gas fuels such as hydrogen or methane. It would have to be compressed for storage (and compressing a gas is normally fairly inefficient). Reclaiming its energy (turbine generator or some from of fuel cell and inverter) has its associated inefficiencies and costs. I have to think that battery or capacitor technology is and will be in better shape for energy storage.
