RE:HR 5205

RE:HR 5205Hi PharmerBrent

You are correct in that HR5205 has not shown up on the Text of Bills for the Week of Sept 8, 2014 as of today. I have been watching that list myself for the addition of the bill, which can happen at any time by the looks of it. (the list gets updated every day or so).

If you go to the Senate website, you can also check the Daily Digest.

Today for example, S2480 (Elko Land Bill), which is part of the house HR5205 omnibus land bill was "reported" to the Sendate on Tuesday Aug 26th during the adjournment. If you go back and click on Calendar and then look under General Orders, you will find this bill is now on the Senate Calendar.

The seperate titles (bills) in the HR5205 omnibus land bill will have to have the equivalent Senate land bills. So far, you can find quite a number of them if you look on the Senate Calendar, including S342 (Pine Forest), S159 (Wovoko Wilderness and Lyon Cty), S2480 (Elko Land bill) etc.

So until all the Senate versions of the individual bills contained in HR5205 show up on the Senate Calendar, there is probably no rush to include HR5205 on the House Calendar.

Its quite a convoluted process and hard to keep track of but thats my take on things.
