RE:Good ole boys ?It doesn't really matter what rig they use. If they like the Ensign rig they have had contracted for the last few years and the crew is decent and the price is right the end result will be the same as any other contractor. I would say they are decent as far as their technology. They haven't developed any new innovations, like slickwater fracs. They did however adopt slickwater, started using dissolvable frac balls and have invested in mapping out the best well pathing. Really they are using the same ideas as probably 90% of the other companies and financially thats the best course of action. "Leading edge, not bleeding edge" is the best thing to remember for oilfield technology.
