A sizable injection this week but nontheless it's a miss.So now the total climbs to 126.6 that is now needed each week to equal last years fill at the end of the injection season. The current score card is 23 injections so far and 16 misses. 7 more injections to go. Some odd things are happening  with the weather. For instance it has snowed in Calgary and people in Alberta  have actually turned on their furnaces. Bentek Energy has noted  that  mid con U.S may exhibit similar tendencies in the next few days albeit perhaps less muted than Alberta. I repeat my closing sentence from weeks post: Based on the 5 yr average, usually the 2nd week of Oct. is when we start to see a consistent decline to the injection amounts as the weather cools. There have been rare cases of an injection in the 1st week of Nov. but the actual injection amount for that week (if it occurs) is negligible. Most weekly injection #'s this season have been higher than last yrs. weekly #s but the huge drawdown from stocks last winter largely negates that factor.
