RE:Court date Sept 22 yo hear Eminent Domain
Amen,i will vote my shares against the buyout and i would encourage everyone else to do the same.
I have been waiting for 4 years to see this story play out and now that a positive outcome seems close, another company tries to take us over with a lowball offer.

Lets compare Tasekos offer with another recently announced aquisition of a high quality  copper deposit which also still has some hurdles to clear before it can be built. I am talking about Augusta Resources Rosement project.

                                     buyout offer
Hudbay offer:           aprox. 520mio.
Tasekos offer            aprox  70mio.

npv8 Rosemont project at 3,5 copper:         2500 million
npv7,5 Florence project at 3,5 copper          750 million

hudbay offer as a % of npv:    aprox.  21%
Tasekos offer as a % of npv:    aprox.  9,3%

This offer is much too low. Especially in context that you receive Taseko shares. If their New Prosperity project would have a good chance of being permitted this deal would be fair but unfortunately this mine will most likely never happen. Their Gibraltar mine is ok but too low grade for my taste. If copper goes to 2,5 or lower Taseko is in real trouble. I will vote several 100k against this merger unless they up their offer considerably.
