President Obama visiting Atlanta Tuesday to speak with CDC..... IMO if Sacra continues to improve as he has this "mystery drug" that's been nothing short of remarkable ( that is a qoute) will be known... and 'If" its TKM..( which all signs point to) we will be into a serious gap up with a full FDA lift of parcial hold and stockpiling contracts that could be absolutley astronomical if the numbers being touted come to fruition.. ( I hope it doesn't get that outta control) .... Then, within a few weeks we will have an update on the HepB program...........Remember people, not one insider has sold a single share. Not even when the SP rocketed to the all time hi.... That in itslef is mind boggling....... This is the stock to hold on tightly IMO... Could have a MC of 2-3 BILLION by xmas... But what do I know... all in my not so humble opinion.
As the havoc of Ebola virus continues in West African countries, US President Barack Obama will be meeting global medical experts to find a way out the check the outbreak from spreading in other countries including the United States.
A presidential spokesperson on Friday said that the US President would be travelling to Atlanta next week to discuss the deadly Ebola virus and its possible treatment with leading medical experts.
“The President will travel to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to receive a briefing on the Ebola outbreak in West Africa and discuss the US response to the pandemic. The President will also extend his thanks to the scientists, doctors and healthcare workers who are helping those affected by the disease at home and around the world,” Josh Earnest, White House Press Secretary, told media persons.
According to Earnest, the US President will also be briefed about the respiratory illness that has been recently reported from several states across the Midwest.
Extending support to Ebola-hit countries, the Pentagon on Friday announced that it will provide a 25-bed hospital to Liberia to help combat the menace.
Meanwhile, Pentagon Press Secretary Rear Admiral John Kirby said that the Department of Defence will extend USD 30-million programme funding support as a part of the Ebola response. Under the funding programme, hospitals will be delivered to the West African countries facing the outbreak along with payment for diagnostic equipment, supplies and training.
“We have also requested reprogramming for USD 500 million in this fiscal year’s Overseas Contingency [Operations] fund for humanitarian assistance that would include West Africa,” Kirby said while briefing reporters at his daily news conference.
Kirby said that the Obama administration will continue to play a significant role in addressing this deadly Ebola crisis.
“As a part of that role, the Department of Defence has capabilities that might prove helpful. And we’re a part of that discussion right now,” Kirby added.
While observing the severe health concerns posed by the Ebola outbreak, Obama has recently said that the US needs to contribute more to contain the deadly outbreak in West Africa.
In an interview to NBC, the US President had expressed urgency to control the spread of the Ebola virus, saying we need to stop the health epidemic from becoming a global crisis that could one day threaten the people of America.
The Ebola outbreak has claimed lives of more than 2,400 people since February in five West African countries including Liberia, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Nigeria and Guinea.
