The Tail that wagged the Dog (former dog)

The Tail that wagged the Dog (former dog)
There are few cases where holders of 3-4% of the new combined company hold all the cards on whether or not it happens, or happens at the current deal. Minority shareholders are in a position to demand a better deal on this merger. Maha has blown it, by not buying enough PXL shares in the market to ensure the deal gets passed. I am quite sure that minority shareholders now hold enough shares to demand a better deal, or to find another buyer. It will go down in history of one of the poorest handling of the market, by someone acquiring so many assets and giving up so little. Unless some dramatic buying appears, Maha is not in control. The last several weeks has been over 50% of buying that will not support this deal. With the date of record past, it will be an interesting race to the finish line, with a surprising finish for the Swedes. Kind of like the Sudin sisters playing a Stanley Cup Game ... no show.
