RE:the big short?

RE:the big short? For starters: Canadian Zinc is the cover story in " Mining and Exploration" magazine, for fall of 2014. Alan Taylor says in this article that "Placing the mine into production and witnessing the benefits to the investor base, the region and the company, will be his biggest career achievement." But in order to do that, they need some big bucks to: Build the road Build a camp Retrofit the mill Place all the environmental monitoring systems for effluent. Bring in new generators Develop underground works for long hole mining. Etc., etc., etc, The existing infrastructure is 30% less efficient so fuel costs would be prohibitive. It would cost $18 million to fill up the tank farm alone!!! They've applied for an all season road as well, which could take another 2 years to get approved. But at least it's in the works. The feasibility study will be complete before year end and will be bankable. It will incorporate all the findings of the optimization studies. Hopefully, as Taylor says in the article, the timing might be good to obtain the senior financing with the rising price of Zinc. If none of this comes to pass in the next 60-90 days......I'm bailing!!!
