Chinese deal coming? Ivanhoe offer? Review comes end of Sept.

All speculation but the last news release did mention the Chinese oil company is doing an audit of their companies operations and will at end of quarter be able to sign a deal with Ivanhoe on a new contract for Ecuador and possible other spin off work from Chinese oil owned patches.

" The NOC recently advised Ivanhoe that some of its international projects, including the Block 20 project, are currently under review. Ivanhoe is waiting for the NOC to complete its review before moving forward to finalize the joint-venture agreement. Ivanhoe anticipates that this review will continue until the end of the third quarter of 2014."
(Third quarter: from the beginning of July to the end of September)

The Chinese would like very much to have ownership of HTL ( heavy crude to light crude technology that Ivanhoe is the leader in the oil patch. In my own opinion i think Ivanhoe is ripe for a bid to purchase from CNOC Chinese National Oil Company. Would shareholders of Ivanhoe accept an offer or reject it?
