yyz123 wrote: First off you don't book the full $30 as revenue. You book the revenue you get selling to retail. Which means you book about 22.50 on a $30 at retail game. Second, gross revenue is irrelevant. Since they are publishing a game that has been developed and funded by a studio they are going to get the small share of the revenue. But if they even get 50% their net revenue, which is the number that matters means they now have 11.25. Then they have to pay for marketing and give a distributor a piece of the revs and pay for manufacturing. So the margins overall are very thin. And it's profit that matters anyway, not revenues.

This of course is all irrelevant if they don't get the publishing deals. And there are a ton of large and small publishers fighting for the deals. So I wouldn't be too excited here until they show some traction.

The contradictions from the the class clown just never end...think is Yakazz can't even remember his current statements from the previous ones even if they are sometimes mere minutes apart.

From earlier...as he professed to lectuer another....VC I think it was.

"They have lots of cash in the bank. No fear of any insolvency. The question is can they grow top line. " Yakazz

Than later  as from the direct quote in the full post above...the same sequence he posts this...

".....Which means you book about 22.50 on a $30 at retail game. Second, gross revenue is irrelevant...." Yakazz

Yup...talking/posting out ofboth sides of the mouth once again-and the stuff that is dribbling out of the corners down onto the chin-ani't ink either.

No wonder most poster just shake their heads.

Class dismissed.
