brokerage firms will follow you if they have skin in the game. They want to be paid to follow you and sometimes that price is too high make sense. The balancing point is that at certain times a company wants or needs the promotion a brokerage can provide. The cost for that coverage is the question. Would you rather have a quick pump up and watch the brokers quickly sell their cheap paper, or would you rather have the CEO use company funds to build the company?
