it may be a citrus based solvent, but you are still using it to get oil out of the sand so you can send it out for refining.
any value fluctuation should come from the price of the end product(oil). the idea that this fluctuates with the price of citrus sounds a bit silly.
yes I acknowledge, as the price of citrus goes up, the cost of refining should go up a bit as well, but this would be an inverse relationship and probably minimal affect as you recover 98% of the solvent and reuse it in the process.
I dont see where this all is going, but this comment of yours seems strange.
