The Google EC event

Why is AM coming from SF to attend an EC event in TO? The fact is that he is replacing PC at the head table for this event. Why? The only valid conclusion in my opinion is that AM has a conncection to the the Executive Chair (past CEO) of Google and will be using this opportunity to ether PR a relationship between Google and POET or to advance a relationship.It would be dificult to really see this any other way? It is another example in my opinion of the leg work that is taking place to advance the recogition of POET in the industry.
