he has some simple correlation analytics software from 1998... How similar could that possibly be to avo's modern analytics software? I hope they sue him for any damages and legal fees

Don't think that hasn't been tried. Have a look at the list of lawsuits filed and the outcome by going here and searching on his last name, Adrain, in the Party Name field:

All of these cases have been pleaded in from of the same judge, by the same team of lawyers - he's got 4-5 law firms working for him on each of the cases filed . Why would the outcome for Avigilon be different?

3 days after filing against Avigilon, he filed against GM in relation to the analytics in their tailgate cameras.

This guy obviously isn't afraid of going after the big boys. If he wasn't being succesful, why bother. If sure each of those suits haven't been cheap.
