Ebola does not impact this drill ...

Ebola does not impact this drill ...We all understand that Ebola is ravaging the region and I am sure everyone here is worried and concerned about the devastation and chaos it has caused to the Liberian people.  But posts about the spread of Ebola here do not update us on the status of XOP or XOM.

The involvement of XOP in Liberia is an interest in a block of the ocean with potential drilling opportunities that are 25 miles offshore.  And right now all we are looking at is a drill ship, not a drill platform.  And that drill ship does not have to port, originate or harbour in Liberia and it can be serviced from another country.  And there is a countdown here on maintaining rights to the block that mean that XOM and XOP have to move forward soon, or risk losing rights in the block.  So it seems to me that what we need is information about drill ship movements.  So we can see how XOM is going to arrange for a drill ship, to ensure it intends to maintain compliance with the timelines to maintain the interest in the block.  Because the contract timeline is ticking here.  And XOM can easily arrange a drill without going anywhere near the coat of Liberia.  There has to be some movement here.  Anybody have any updates on Exxon and how it is arranging a drill ship?
